Can I buy tickets at the gate day of the show?

Yes! Tickets will be available at the gate for CASH ONLY, but they are more expensive on the day of the show and are limited in supply. The only way to guarantee your entry into the show is to buy tickets online in advance. Online tickets offer a great discount!

Do I need to print out my tickets or can I show them on my phone?

Tickets on your mobile device can be scanned but must have all details fully visible! Be sure to load it before you arrive.

 

I see you're cash only. Will you have an ATM?

We do NOT have an ATM on-site. The nearest ATM is a 2-minute drive to the Irving. We suggest visiting an ATM before getting to the show. 

 

What if it rains?

If it rains, that just means the mud will be flying! This show is rain or shine. For the courtesy of those sitting behind you, we do not allow umbrellas. Please bring a Poncho in case of rain. We will also have a limited number of Ponchos available for purchase.

I want to ride in a Monster Truck! Tell me more!

Monster Truck Rides will be available before the show at the ON-TRACK EXPERIENCE (entry is $5 with a General Admission ticket or FREE entry for VIP). There is no age or height requirement; however, under 5 must be accompanied by an adult (16+). Monster truck rides are $15 CASH ONLY for all ages. Fire truck rides are $10 cash only for all ages (or free with a VIP ticket at the On-Track Experience). ALL RIDES are not guaranteed and are first-come-first-serve!

 

How long is the show?

Approximately 2 to 2.5 hours including an intermission break.

Do you have food and drinks for sale at the event?

Yes! We have several food trucks coming. We also have hot food and cold drinks at our Main Canteen and easy treats to grab at our Concession Stand. We are CASH ONLY. NO outside food or drink is allowed (unless pre-approved due to allergies)

What can and can't I bring to the event? Will bags be checked? 

You CAN bring:

- Car seats or strollers (we ask that you park strollers in a secure location that does not block the view of other spectators)

- Your own standard beach/lawn chair with a Bring Your Own Chair ticket

- Baby food or formula

- Your dog (as long as they are on a leash and you pick up after them) 

- Up to 1.5L of water in a SEALED bottle per person. No reusable water bottles are permitted to ensure alcohol is not being brought into the event

- Up to 2 small personal-sized snacks for children 2 and under 

- One small soft cooler bag (up to 18" inches) for water or baby food/formula

 

You CANNOT bring:

- NO outside food and drink

- NO umbrellas 

- NO reusable water bottles. Water must be in a SEALED bottle. 

- NO large reclining beach/lawn chairs

- NO large or hard coolers

All bags will be checked prior to entry.

Is there anything else I should bring that I may not have thought of? 

We suggest bringing a light jacket as we're located just 4km from Parlee Beach and our Grandstands can get a cool breeze off the water from that beautiful ocean view! Bug spray and sun protection are always recommended as our Grandstands are uncovered. Ear protection is highly recommended for all ages. We will have standard earplugs available for purchase. Lastly, we suggest closed-toe shoes, especially if you are attending the On-Track Experience as there can be debris in the in-field.

Are there assigned seats in the Grandstands?

Seating is first-come-first-serve in your selected Section (Grandstand Section A,B,C,D,E and Bring Your Own Chair). We suggest arriving early to enjoy the food trucks from across the Maritimes before any large lines form, get some cool new merchandise, and grab your favourite seat!

Am I allowed to smoke or vape?

NO smoking or vaping is allowed in the Grandstands, Bring Your Own Chair area, or anywhere inside the On-Track Experience. We ask that if you need to smoke or vape, you do so in the designated area at the top of the hill 9 meters from the washrooms.

Are you wheelchair accessible? 

Yes, our facility is wheelchair accessible. We have limited accessible parking available so please arrive early if you require a parking spot close to the entrance. If you plan to attend the On-Track Experience and require a Wheelchair Accessible ticket, please send an email to shediaccentreforspeed@gmail.com as it is a separate entrance to the track.

 

Any other information you can share?

All ticket sales are final. In the rare case of an event cancellation, ticket holders will be refunded. Loud noise, exhaust fumes, flying dirt, dust and small pieces of rubber or metal could become airborne during the event. It is the responsibility of the ticket holder to be aware of their surroundings at all times and the ticket holder accepts all risks by entering the facility.
