The rules and/or specifications set forth herein are designed to provide for the orderly conduct of racing events and to establish minimum acceptable requirements for such events. By making an application for a competitor permit, it is deemed that the competitor agrees to become familiar with these regulations and abide by the directions set forth and prescribed by Management. No express or implied warranty of safety shall result from publications of, or compliance with these rules and/or specifications. They are intended as a guide for the conduct of the sport and are in no way a guarantee against injury or death to participants, spectators, or others.

THE INTERPRETATION OF THESE RULES WILL BE SOLELY THE JUDGMENT OF THE TRACK OFFICIALS & TECH STAFF IN CHARGE AND THEIR DECISION WILL BE FINAL​

DISQUALIFICATION DECISION FOR ANY REASON WILL BE DEEMED FINAL.

Interpretation of these rules will be solely up to the judgment of the officials in charge of the area in question. The Track reserves the right to impound non-complying components with no compensation to the owner(s) Non-compliance with the specifications outlines herein may subject violating teams to disqualification, loss of points and money and or fine.

This Series is open to all Atlantic Canadian based Sportsman Divisions and Late Model Divisions competitors.

SPORTSMAN  RULES

​

All Atlantic Canadian Sportsman Cars are eligible to compete under your regular Track or Series rules with the following adjustments / requirements:

​

No Coil Binding or Bump Stops.

​

No Tire Softener.   Minimum Tire Softness of 52 must be maintained at all times.​

​

The car must weigh 2950 with the driver in position / full of fuel at the beginning of the race.  Cars running 1:1 (Direct Drive) add 50 lbs.   

 

GM Crate engine cars may run the stock GM 4 BBL for that engine will be allowed to compete with a 50 lb penalty. 

​

The maximum left side weight is 55% and Maximum Rear weight is 45%.

​

A maximum of 2 new tires that may be used for any 75 or more lap race and a maximum of 1 tire may be used for any race that is less than 75 laps.   All other tires on the car for that race day must be used tires.  A used tire is defined as any tire with less than 5/32's tread depth.   Once qualifying begins for the race event all tires on the car must remain on the car for the entire race day.  If you have a tire failure once the race event begins you must request the Tech to authorize you to replace the flat with one of your approved spares.   A Maximum of 8 tires (new and used, including 4 spares) may be approved by the Tech for a race event.  Teams should bring these tires with them to Tech for inspection and approval when you Tech.

Teams may practice on non inventoried tires.  Tires may not be transferred among teams or among cars on multi car teams.  Tires are registered to the car and must only be run on that car.  Any violation will result in disqualification.
