Street Wars and Drift Rules

Rules & Regulations

  1. Each driver must register to compete.  See schedule of Events for key dates.  

  2. All vehicles must be on the grounds 1 hour prior to the start time of the event for inspection by an official.  No entries will be excepted after this time.

  3. All drivers must attend the drivers meeting held 30 minutes prior to the event. Attendance at the drivers meeting is mandatory for the purpose of payout.

  4. Drivers must be a minimum of 16 years of age and have a valid driver’s licence.

  5. Drivers are responsible for ensuring that each participant must sign the official insurance waiver and release before entering the restricted pit area. "Participant" means: driver, mechanic, official working crew member, and others having official responsibilities requiring or permitting them to enter the restricted pit area. Spectators are not participants. Failure to do so may result in disqualification.

  6. Only the competition vehicle is allowed in the pit area.

  7. CFS will not be held responsible for any damage or loss to any cars, parts, or personal property before, during, or after the event.

  8. Racing is a hazardous and high risk sport, therefore anyone with a health condition or who is pregnant may not compete.

  9. CFS is not responsible for any injuries sustained either by driver or pit crew. It is your responsibility to carry your own insurance for this purpose.  The speedways insurance only covers the speedway.

  10. CFS has a zero tolerance policy for the consumption or possession of any alcohol or controlled substance by the driver or pit crews. Any person found in possession or under the influence of such substances during the event will be disqualified from participation in the event and will not be issued a refund.

  11. CFS reserves the right to refuse entry to any person and to reject any entry.

  12. Entry fee will be half price for CFS Licensed Drivers.

  13. Registration includes the car and the driver.

  14. Any hardtop automobile,  station wagon or half ton is allowed. 

  15. All cars must have a CFS assigned number in the right hand upper corner of the windshield

  16. Only automotive type tires permitted. No studs, snow treads, racing or cut tires.

  17. A safety belt and DOT approved helmet are recommended.

  18. Fire retardant socks and gloves recommended.

  19. Long sleeves and pant legs are recommended. 

  20. Vehicles must have dependable and sufficient brakes at all times and competition area boundaries must be observed at all times.

  21. Racing thru the pits at any time will mean purse forfeit and or ejection from the event.

  22. NO drinking of alcoholic beverages on track, emergency vehicle area, pit area or general area of derby is allowed. Any driver or pit person under the influence of alcohol or drugs will be immediately disqualified and removed from the ground

  23. All heat participants will be allowed to work on their cars 20 minutes before the next heat.  Late for the heat start means your car does not qualify.  You will have 20 minutes from the time you leave the track from your last event to the time you must be back in the line-up for the next event.  Set your watches.

  24. Decisions of the OFFICIALS are final.
