The Sponsorships for the Maritime Super Series have been pioneered by Tom Nicholls of the Nicholls Group. Tom noted that `` The series has been well received, especially among Street Stock, and even with the impact of Covid. With the current travel restrictions in place for the three Maritime Provinces, we will review and restructure payouts on a pro-rated basis if necessary. We are committed to the principle that all sponsorship funds go to the competitors. For now, we need the drivers to help secure more funds for their campaigns and get on board. Drivers should register now even if they can't attend all events. I am also hopeful that once we get to fewer restrictions and start racing, the points fund and minimum payouts will grow and the payout pool will increase. Companies wishing to see the sponsorship kit and all the benefits of being involved with the MSS are asked to please contact Tom at tomcnicholls@gmail.com or at 902-940-3552. Your FREE early registration by June 5th will help make this happen”. Tim Wile, acting GM at CFS stated “We want to thank Tom for his outstanding help and his commitment to CFS. Tom has a great deal on his plate this year as well as a recent training injury. With all of this plus racing his own cars, a new business venture, and a move to NB, Tom is going to concentrate on these items for the remainder of the year. Thanks again, Tom”.

A special thanks also goes to these Maritime Super Series race date sponsors: June 13th - Winsloe Irving/Johnston Enterprises, Winsloe, PEI June 26th – Patterson Sales and Service – Miramichi, NB and All Maritime Provinces (NB/PEI Twin 50’s Series race) July 17th – Kevin Quinn Remax Realty Realtor, Charlottetown and All of PEI August 21 – Winsloe Irving/Johnston Enterprises, Winsloe, PEI September 26th - MOVEall Structures - Mount Stewart, PEI and All of PEI POINTS FUNDS AND PAYOUTS. In all Divisions the points fund total will be paid as a percentage of the final sponsorship received. 1st – 15%, 2nd – 10%, 3rd – 8%, 4th – 6%, 5th – 4% , 6th – 4% and on out at 4% Additional monies gained will be distributed at these percentages.

Acting GM Tim Wile noted, “The points fund will be guaranteed at the stated minimums above with the hope of adding additional money to the funds in all divisions as we move forward. With that said if an event is cancelled for any reason, the points fund will be adjusted accordingly. In any case, All sponsorship dollars will go to the Teams. Official Points info is available on the website and will be based on both the Heats and Feature Race finishing order, as follows: Heats: 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 5, 5 on out Feature: 50, 48, 46, 44, 42, 40, 40, 40 on out In the event of a tie for the Championship the winner will be the car with the most wins, followed by the most top 3 finishes until the tie is broken.
