Shediac's CENTRE for Speed is a 110 acre entertainment, park located in the beautiful seaside resort of Grand Barachois, NB.
The history of "Music, motor sports and more" here at Shediac's CENTRE for Speed dates back to the 1940's. Originally a Horse Racing Facility, the property was converted to Stock Car Racing in the 1960's under the name "Shediac International Raceway". A permit was granted in 1996 to upgrade and expand the then dormant facility in as CAN-AM Speedway, later named Shediac's CENTRE for Speed in 2000.

It has been called "one of the best stock car racing facilities in North America for the size market it serves" by the "Bible of Stock Car Racing" - (Stock Car Racing Magazine). It is heralded by independent music promoters as "the best concert facility in the Maritimes" and "one of the best in Canada" and has hosted major artists such as ZZ Top, Our Lady Peace, April Wine, BTO, Huey Lewis and the News, the TREWS, STYX, and many many more. It is also the home of the popular Parlee Beach Music Festival. The 110 acre facility boasts keys features unavailable at any other facility in the Province including on site parking, camping, and permanent assets to host tens of thousands "at the turn of a switch".
