2009 Competitors Awards were presented as follows;
CFS Points Fund and Points Championship Trophies
Via Rail Dedicated Driver Award - $1850 This trip for two to Montreal or Tronto from either Halifax or Moncton aboard Via Eastern Class Service including sleeping accomodations goes to the competitor in any division who attends the most CFS events. Ties will be broken by random draw among those in attendance at the drivers banquet. Each event attended adds another chance to win. Attend more events and have more chances to win. Must run the sponsor decal.
2009 ViaRail Dedicated Driver - Claude Gaudet (Sportsman)
CFS Class Champion Jackets - $1250 Each Division points Leader for CFS Events will be awarded a high quality, unique, CFS Championship Jacket ($250 Value). Must run the speedway decal.
Mike Weagle - Four Fun Champ Bob Prosser - Mini Stock Champ Victor Vienneau - Street Stock Champ Dan Bourque - Sportsman Champ
Buyer Flyer Pit Crew of the Year Award = $150 To recognize the dedication and hard work of everyone involved in getting (and keeping) the race car on the track and to the Finish line each week CFS is announcing the PIT CREW OF THE YEAR AWARD. This award is presented to the Pit Crew and Driver in any class who raced the most laps at CFS during the entire season. This award will be calculated as a % of the total laps raced for the class (including invitationals). Must run the sponsor decal.
2009 Pit Crew of the Year - Dan Bourque and Crew (Sportsman)
Battery Direct Rookie of the Year Award = $200 Awarded to the rookie in the sportsman division who has the most points on the season. Cars competing for this award are required to run the Sponsors Decal.
2009 Rookie of the Year - Chris Cormier (Sportsman)
Wilwood Brakes - Hard Charger Award = $100 This award goes to the team, in any division that passes the most cars at CFS during the season. Cars competing for this award are required to run the speedway decal.
