SPEED WEEKEND
Rules
PRO STOCK
MPST, S660, and PASS compliant cars are eligible to race with the following competition adjustments:
BODIES
Min Roof Height = 46" measured 10 inches back from windshield to the ground
Max Rear overhang = 52"
Max Front Overhang = 45"
Max Deck Height = 36"
Max. spoiler height from the ground to top of spoiler is 41"
No roof rails or wings
A penalty will be enforced for cars not adhering to all other ABC dimensions.
Heights are measured with the driver in the car, at your legal race weight.
WEIGHT
"Base weight" for all cars is 2800 pounds.
"Base Left Side %" for all cars is 57.
All weights and percentages are full of fuel, driver in the car, before the race.
Cars must be full of fuel for each race on race day.
All weight and % adjustments must be made from these "bases".
COMPETITION ADJUSTMENTS
Cars with a GM Factory Sealed 400/400 350 ci "Fastburn" Racing Crate Engine may deduct 50 lbs.
Cars with AFCO Maritime Pro Stock Tour shocks 1074, 1075, 1076, 1094, or 1095 or may deduct 50 lbs.
All ABC compliant cars may run a 6.5" spoiler.
Minimum weight for any car including all allowed deductions is 2700 lbs.
Cars shorter than 101" must add 25 lbs for each half inch (or part of) short of 101" wheelbase.
Dodges must add 10 lbs per additional ci over 372.
FRAME
A minimum of three inches of ground clearance is required - driver in the car.
2" x 3" steel tubing or larger allowed
ENGINE
Any 2 or 4 barrel intake allowed.
IGNITION
8170 MSD Box must not be altered
8170 MSD Box must have weather pack quick connect installed
8170 MSD box must be visible and accessible to the Tech, inside the car
The tach wire leaving terminal B of the (8170) must have a removable section of wire a minimum of 6" in length. This section must be removed prior to qualifying and remain that way for the entire event.
MSD must not be accessible by the driver while seated in the car.
Cars with the HEI distributor tach wire are also to be equiped with a removable section of wire and must be removed prior to qualifying competition and remain that way for the duration of the event.
MSD boxes for the top 3 will be confiscated after the race (if not from a controlled inventory) and sent for certification. Boxes will be returned once certified as legal and cost ($50) will be deducted from the purse for these drivers.
The speedway reserves the right to confiscate any MSD prior to the race. If so your MSD will be returned at the end of the race.
CARBURETOR
Holley 4412 500 CFM stock (2 barrel), only. Choke horn may be removed.
GM Crate engine must run the MPST spec Holley 650 HP
Must pass CFS go, no-go gauges.
WHEELS
Maximum ten inch measured bead set to bead set.
Steel wheels only.
SHOCKS
One shock per wheel.
Max shock pressure can be no more than 175 psi.
Shocks must remain the same as what you start racing on at the beginning of the day.
AFCO MPST legal shocks will receive a 50 lbs weight deduction.
CLUTCH
Any safe clutch and flywheel may be used.
Scatter shield mandatory with open clutch.
REAR END
Maximum gear ratio overall = 588.
Solid spool or permanent lock rear ends only
Matching white lines are to be present on each hub to indicate the relationship of one axel to the other and must be linesd up exactly the same on each side.
No front change quick changes allowed.
RADIATOR
Any rad (must be ahead of engine).
No antifreeze or additives in the rad. Water only.
TRANSMISSION
Any two, three or four speed with operating reverse, only.
Must race at 1:1 ratio.
No gear may be closer than 1.23 to 1. (i.e. 3rd gear in a four speed cant be any closer to 1.00 than 1.23)
No variable ratio transmissions.
TIRESFour new tires are allowed for the event and must be purchased form the CENTRE (CFS).
A total of eight (8) Hoosier 1080/1070 tires may be registered for the event.
All used tires must come from a controlled inventory.
New tires purchased on race weekend will be held in inventory until race day.
Please call 506 388-2415 to arrange to have your tires transferred from your controlled inventory.
No tires may be transferred between teams or cars on race day.
All registered tires must be in plain site of race officials on race day, at the front of your pit pad.
Any other tires (ie non registered tires) in a teams pocession must be removed from your pit area and stored at the speedways tire trailed during the race.
Tires mounted on practice day will not be allowed in the teams pocession until race day.
Teams may practice on unregistered (used tires) or may buy additional new tires from CFS for practice.
Teams must start the race on the tires they qualify on and may not change any tires unless a crew member is first authorized to do so by the Pit Steward. Failure to do so will result in a 10 lap penalty.
Deadline for new tire orders is Sept 28th.
Cars wishing to use more than 4 used tires on race day may do so at a cost of $50 per tire which will be deducted from their final payout.
Pre Registration
Pro Stocks who register prior to Sept 26th will be guaranteed a cement pit pad location (while they last) and will have their name entered into a draw for 2 New Race Tires for the event. All advance registrations will be eligible for the "Early Bird" promoters provisional to be drawn from any non qualifiers who pre registered. Cost to register is $50 (including driver entry) and is payable at the pit gate on event weekend. All cars must pre register to race prior to the event. Cut off for all registrations is Oct 2nd. Get in early and get your name in for the tires, pads and early bird provisional (just in case). Early bird registration is extended to Sept 28th.
COMMUNICATIONS
All teams MUST provide track officials with all their frequencies via email or phone prior to the event.
All teams must have crew member with scanner monitoring track officials frequency and with the ability to communicate those messages to the driver
Teams may not scramble frequencies.
The Race Control frequency will be announced on race day.
MISCELLANEOUS
All qualifying cars must tech after their qualifying race. The top five in the feature must tech.
QUALIFYING
Draw for initial position. Qualifying will be through heats and consi races.

SPORTSMAN
All Sportsman Cars may compete. The minimum base weight for all cars is 3000 lbs. Cars must conform to their home track rules and make the following competition adjustments for any of the following items installed on their car:
WEIGHT
Weight will be measured driver in position, full of fuel and at the beginning of the race.
Car must be full of fuel to start each race.
S660 cars may have a maximum left side weight of 54%
GEAR RATIO
Maximum final gear ratio for all cars is 550.
TIRES & WHEELS
Hoosier 890 Sportsman Tire is allowed.
EXHAUST
All Cars without Headers may deduct 50 lbs.
COMMUNICATIONS
In order to ensure a professionally run event Drivers are required to have or rent a scanner.
Scanners will be available for sale or rent at the speedway.
Scanners must be tuned to the race frequency ONLY. (TBA at the event)
Cars with more than one frequency programmed into their scanner will be disqualified.
MISCELLANEOUS
Cars with Ford Rear Ends in non Ford Manufactured cars add 50 lbs.
All Qualifying cars must tech after their qualifying heat / semi races.

STREET STOCK
All Maritime and Quebec based Street Stocks may compete. All rules are per your home track rules with the following adjustments.
All cars may run used Hoosier 890 sportsman tires as an option. Cars that choose to do so must maintain a maximum wheel to wheel width (measured inside to outside) of 62.5".
No jacking bolts allowed
Minimum weight for Street Stock cars is 3600 lbs.
Maximum left side weight is 53% for all cars.
Maximum rear weight is 45% for all cars.
"Thunder cars" or 305 engined cars may weight 3400 lbs.
Cars with 305 / 302 or 307 engines may run up to 57% left side and 50% rear weignt
Weights are dirver in the car and full of fuel.
Car must be full of fuel to start each race of the day.
All other aspects of your car must be per your track home rules.
MISCELLANEOUSAll Qualifying cars must tech after their qualifying heat / semi races.
The top 4 in the feature must tech.
QUALIFYING
Qualifying will be through Heat's, Semi's and Consi's. Draw for initial position. Heat qualifiers will race a Semi for final grid position.

MINI STOCK (TIGERCAT, LIGHTNING, WARRIOR, AND SIMILAR)
All cars with 100 HP or more.
All rules are per your home track
Max left side weight is 53%
No weights may be added other than to ensure 53%.
Tires must be either S, T or H rated.
No tires larger than 15" and P205 - 60.
Stock steel rims only
Top four in the features must tech.

FOUR FUN (ThunderCat, Thunder and Similar)
All 4 cyl cars must be under 100 HP and Race per your track rules. Cars may use up to a 15" H, S, or T rated radial tire with no less than a 60 series profile and no larger than a P 225 width rating.
