Demolition Rules and Procedure


Any hard top 4, 6 OR 8 cylinder passenger car or Mini Van may compete.


Must have a minimum "3 point" seat belt or better for all occupants.


All lights and glass except the windshield must be removed prior to arrival at CFS.


A seat belt is required for each passenger.


Gas Tank must remain under the car and ahead of the rear axle
.


Battery may be placed in the car if covered with a Battery Box.


All other items must be stock (unaltered)


No special bumpers, reinforcements or trailer hitches are allowed.


Drivers Door must be bolted, welded or chained shut.


Exhaust may exit through the hood if desired and hood pins may replace trunk and hood latches at your option.


Trunk MUST be able to be opened

Demolition competitors must compete in and complete two of the three "Qualifying" races on the event day in order to compete in the Demolition.

Anyone 16 or older is eligible to compete

Procedure

All participants must be 16 years of age or older. Driver's must stay in their vehicles with their seat belts properly secured at all times while in competition.  No hitting on the driver's door and no repeat head on collisions. No Alcohol or Drugs. To win the demolition you must compete in both "demolition qualifying events" eg. Soap Box Derby and Barrel Race as described in the pre race meeting by CENTRE for Speed officials.  To win the demolition a car must be the last to make contact and still be able to move. A car must make contact with other competitors every minute or it may be disqualified at the discretion of the officials. A car may not avoid contact at the start of the event or it will be disqualified. If the final 2 cars are locked together or the final car cannot move the money will be evenly split and a coin toss will decide who will receive the trophy. All cars must pass safety inspection prior to the event to be sure they are within the rules. Cars must report to the Tech Shed for a pre race inspection prior to the event at least one hour before the start time of the event.




Enduro Rules and Procedure



Any hard top 4, 6 OR 8 cylinder passenger car or Mini Van may compete.
 
Must have a minimum 3 point (stock) seat belt.

Gas Tank must remain under the car and ahead of the rear axle. 

No Fuel Cells allowed.

Battery cannot be in the drivers compartment unless in a secure Battery Box.

No special bumpers, reinforcements or trailer hitches are allowed. 

Occupant Doors must be bolted, welded or chained shut.

Each Occupant must wear a minimum 3 point (stock) seat belt or more.

Must have a minimum
"H" bar style roll cage plated or welded to the car frame and roof. 

Exhaust may exit through the hood if desired and hood pins may replace trunk and hood latches 


Stock passenger car tires (PXXX) no lower than 70 series  e.g. P225 70R

No past or present "Stock Cars" over 100 HP.

 

Procedure

All participants must be 16 years of age or older.  Driver's must stay in their vehicles with their seat belts properly secured at all times while in competition.   Driver must not hitting another car on the drivers door.  Alcohol or Drugs are strictly prohibited.  Anyone knowing of competitors using any substance is requested to inform the speedway.  Contact is allowed but no intentional wrecking will be tolerated. ie Bumping not Bashing.  The first car to complete the assigned laps is the winner. All cars must pass safety inspection prior to the event to be sure they are within the rules. Cars must report to the Tech Shed for a pre race inspection prior to the event at least one hour before the start time of the event.  Starting position is determined by a draw.

Each class of vehicles will have its own Powder Puff


Must driver a car legal for the division rules in which you compete.

Draw for position.

No Contact allowed.


Any Female  age 14 or older is eligible to compete

Any Mechanic or Crew Member who has never competed in a regular stock car division age 14 or older is eligible to compete.
